Something extraordinary I’ve realized as I reflect on our first Somma experience… sailing with you was truly the most relaxed I have ever felt on one of our cruises in over 20 years! The beautiful, intimate ship…the feeling of ‘knowing’ everyone, even if we were meeting for the first time–it was beyond special for me.
Perhaps it was the immersive experience of it all – taking in the serene beauty of the Italian coastline and our spectacular ports, indulging in the fresh delicacies of the region (man, did I overdo it on the pasta!), tasting extraordinary wines and sampling decadent desserts (couldn’t get enough of the gelato!) All while enriching our mind, body and spirits through the stories and triumphs of our phenomenal guest speakers, and reveling in the sounds of some of the greatest musical icons and exceptional guest artists…it was a wonderful thrill to enjoy it all alongside you, our beloved guests.
I am humbled and grateful for our inaugural Somma sailing to have been all we had dreamed and hoped it would be. And we hope you feel the same! With that, I invite you to sit back and enjoy our 2024 Somma highlights reel as we reflect on our magical week together…
